I am primarily a watercolorist and muralist holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Art Education and Art, respectively, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Until 2007, my previous time was dedicated to art education in the public schools of Pennsylvania and Florida. I have undertaken a variety of art jobs during that time. Since then, I established Old School Studio, L.L.C. and have focused on producing original work with a Florida flavor. My wildlife images tend to begin with the natural shapes and colors found outside our southern windows. During production, they sometimes take on aspects that are dictated by what I am seeing in the work. Other images have a more abstract appearance but still have a natural landscape foundation. Regardless, I always look for ways to incorporate color and contrast between simple shapes and detail.
